Our Dentists

Dr. Bao Nguyen, DDS

General Dentist

Dr. Bao Nguyen was born in Saigon, Vietnam and immigrated to Canada in 1975 when he was 5 years old. After spending 20 years in Montréal, he then moved to Ottawa. He became an associate at Rideau Dental Centre in 1995, eventually becoming a partner in 1997.

His education began at Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf in Montréal and Champlain Regional College in St-Lambert before attending the Pre-Dental Program at McGill University (DDS in 1995).

He has completed several other programs and certificates, including Dental Implants Restoration (Argyle Associates Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery c.1996), Orthodontics (Mid-Continent Orthodontics c.2004), Invisalign (Align Technology Institute c.2008), and Oral Sedation (University of Toronto / Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario c.2010).

Dr. Bao Nguyen's philosophy is to treat others the way you want to be treated and enjoy life by doing what you love every single day.

In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and son and going to the gym (Dr. Nguyen firmly believes in 'Mens sana in corpore sano' - a healthy mind in a healthy body). Dr. Nguyen enjoys fast-paced sports and activities like motorsport racing and alpine skiing.
Dr. Daniel Bitar, BSc (Hons), DDS

General Dentist

Dr. Daniel Bitar was born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario. He is fluent in English, French, and Arabic. He is a proud member of the Canadian Dental Association (CDA), Ontario Dental Association (ODA), Ottawa Dental Society (ODS), and the Royal College of Dental Surgeons (RCDSO).

He has an Honours BSc in Biopharmaceutical Science with a specialization in genomics from the University of Ottawa and obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Western Ontario - Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry.

Dr. Bitar aims to provide patient-centred dental care. He believes in treating others the way that you would like to be treated and always being yourself.

His hobbies include a variety of sports such as soccer, basketball, football, and more, as well as travelling and socializing with friends and family.
Dr. Peter Georgopoulos, DDS

General Dentist

Dr. Georgopoulos was born in Ottawa, Ontario. He attended the University of Ottawa, where he earned both his Honours BSc in Biochemistry and a BA in Psychology before graduating from the University of Toronto in 2000 as a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS).

Since graduating, Dr. Georgopoulos has been practicing all aspects of general dentistry. He is strongly interested in dental implant services and cosmetic dental care. He aims to provide comprehensive treatments for all patients in a caring atmosphere.

In his free time, he enjoys relaxing with his family, achieving his personal fitness goals and travelling.
Dr. Wayne Perron, DDS

General Dentist

Dr. Wayne Perron was born and raised in Montréal. He moved to Ottawa in 1986 and began practicing dentistry at Rideau Dental Centre in 1990.

He attended John Abbott College for Pure and Applied Sciences, then McGill University for an undergraduate degree in Neurobiology. Afterward, he attended McGill University again to obtain a degree in dentistry. Between 1986 and 1990, Dr. Perron performed general dental care services for the Department of National Defense.

Dr. Perron's philosophy is to look for new challenges every day and to effectively communicate and educate patients on dental health.

He is a father of two children, and in his free time, he enjoys bodybuilding, downhill skiing, motorcycles, boating, playing guitar and spending time with friends and family.
